James Bond visits M

Although this picture was taken out side Spelthorne Borough Council offices. I could not wait to show this picture of this lovely car off to the people of Stanwell.

It has to be said that in Stanwell we do have a pink fire engine,a pink double Decker bus, and a grass covered car, so a visit to M from James Bond is this Staines trying to compete with Stanwell.

As your ward Councillor I take great care and pride in acting with any problems people may have Quickly and efficiently, I believe I also lead the way by keeping members of the public informed throughout the whole process, as I am only too aware that a long delay in reporting back to a member of the public, may leave them with the impression that either I am uncaring or that I have ignored there Question, or appeal for help.

I work very closely with all agencies leading the way in speeding up the process of dealing with ward issues, Part of my daily routine is to drive and walk round Stanwell and Stanwell Moor, stopping to talk to members of the public and business's, this helps me solve problems before many members of the public are aware. Graffiti, Fly tips, damaged in the streets and parks, this is to just name a few of the things I do Quietly behind the scenes, I work closely with Mick Rayner

and other officers at Spelthorne BC this helps Officers,

by keeping them up to date with what is happening in Stanwell North, but also aids me, so I always have the very latest information on Stanwell North this in turn means that I am leading from the front and not chasing too try and keep up.

I never mind people stopping to ask me Questions, Put me to the test,people in Stanwell Sunbury Staines and Ashford have, and I believe they have all been happy, because if I know the answer to there Question, I will give them an answer straight away, If I do not know the answer I will find the answer Quickly and forward it to the person with in 24 hours.

SHORTWOOD INFANT SCHOOL

I went to a meeting on Friday evening, Present were parents Governors, head teachers to name just a few, County was represented along with borough Councillors.

We are all dedicated to this school, so come on have a look for your self, we all want the best for our children, Seeing is believing, its up to you.

SHORTWOOD INFANT SCHOOL

As much as you think you are aware of what is happening around you, out of the blue you receive a call from a member of the public which makes you sit down in a shocked daze.

There is a proposal to close Shortwood School, how can this be, this school for a start is a catchment school for Stanwell.

Out of all the houses A2D propose to build in Stanwell, were are our children going to go to school, Bus services are under review, So how far would they exspect a child to walk to school.

If you agree this School should stay open then support Shortwood School.

Stanwell Moor

Come on wake up Stanwell Moor and smell the coffee. This has been the second week of the highly successful Stanwell Moor coffee morning taking place at the Village Hall. We start at 09:30 and go on to 11:30am.

This is new venture for Stanwell Moor, but in my opinion a much needed one. With your support this venture has the ability to grow into a valued event in the community.

Please come along and give it a go. Although this is a social event, I will be there to have a chat and a laugh with you all. If you wish to either ask me any questions or would like to find answers to any problems you may have on the Moor, I will do my best to help.

Snow in Spelthorne

As in my previous blog I mentioned of my efforts to gain cooperation for the clearing of snow in key areas in Spelthorne.

I have heard on the grape vine today that Spelthorne and Surrey County Council may be in discussion now on this very issue, Fantastic news for Spelthorne.
